First GEV helped Minae 's ranger and after was created the Dona Karen Reserve . with local association ASEPALECO . An agreement with FONAFIFO was made to sell CSA ( Payments of Environmental Service ) in accordance with Kyoto protocol to mitigate carbon dioxide emission through regenerating forest absorption . A lot of students of differnts italian schools makes international excamge with Costarican school. In this Way they can realize how much this country is ahead in protecting nature.
