Preserve the forest to defeat poverty - Some years ago on the island was created a Reserve to protect the nature and birds of the lake. During 2006 and 2007 on the island of Macarroncito in Nicaragua lake, FpS built a primary school and a biological station to study biodiversity. Now FpS is working to create ecotourism structures.
